CHÂTEAU RIGAUD : PUISSEGUIN SAINT-EMILION

A few hectares of vines clustered around a house built by my great grandfather in 1870 - a chalk plateau as foundation for the fine, intense wines of this terroir - Chateau Rigaud is a family property which, like its wines, resists the tests of time.

The merlots are crisp, almost acidulous; the cabernet-francs are severe then captivating. The wine is aged in handsome barrels made of wood from Loches, the Vogues or from Austria.
